Dr. Marco Gutierrez, DDS

Dr. Marco Gutierrez was born in Mexico and moved with his family to Sacramento CA, when he was nine. He earned his BA in chemistry from California, State University of Sacramento, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. He moved to Oregon 23 years ago and believes the Pacific Northwest is the most beautiful part of the United States.
Dr. Gutierrez’s team members are dedicated, compassionate professionals, always willing to go the extra mile to make your visits positive. Our practice works to empower patients with the education they need to maintain their oral care, and we believe it’s one of our greatest contributions to society at large as it’s essential for overall health: Treating the person as a whole, addressing patients with sleep apnea, cosmetic concerns, dental, anxiety, TMJ, and headaches. He also speaks Spanish!
Dr. Marco Gutierrez’s biggest professional pleasure is being able to change lives by removing their oral pain and replacing it with healthy smiles. Dr. Gutierrez volunteers with Love Inc., International Medical Team, and Mission of Mercy because he wants underserved communities to be able to access the quality, compassionate care they deserve.

IF THERE WERE ANGELS... a most terrifying experience in the US Navy twenty five years ago I would say gave me a civilian equivalent of PTSD. My initial visit was so perfect I couldn't see taking the prescribed sedative I REQUESTED just to make it into the office. They were the most kind and sincere in service. Ensuring I would be most comforted I gave it to God and just relaxed. I had a broken molar that had gone untreated for 5 months. Eventually it had gotten worse and worse, leaving me in excruciating pain. I had called numerous dentists and no one could see me for 4-7 days. I finally found them and they got me in the next morning. Office staff were great and the Dentist was comforting, gentle, and professional yet fun. He made certain I couldn't feel a thing before proceeding and communicated the entire time. Im afraid of dentists and have had 2 bad experiences. Despite them not accepting my insurance and ha ing to pay cash (a reasonable price) Id definitely refer anyone to them be it a child of adult.
