Optima Dental offers a variety of payment options, including our own Dental Savings Plan. We don’t ever want you to put off necessary dental care because of financial concerns.
We also don’t want you to experience any unpleasant financial surprises. Our team will work with you to be sure you understand your payment options along with all of the associated costs before commencement of treatment.

Our own in-house insurance plan is popular with our patients not only because it is affordable, but also because it provides discounts on many procedures not covered by traditional dental insurance. Take a look at the benefits and covered treatments we provide for plan members to see if it’s right for you.
Before your treatment, our experienced financial team will verify your dental benefits. We will let you know how much to expect from your insurance coverage and what your estimated share of the cost will be. Our office will submit claims to your insurance company and allow 60 days for receipt of payment. After 60 days, the policyholder will be responsible for the remaining balance.
We ask that you keep us informed about any changes in your dental insurance so we can keep the process as efficient as possible and help you maximize your dental benefits.
CareCredit works like a healthcare credit card. You can use it to pay for your dental care in our office and you can also use it in many other healthcare establishments. Application is made on the CareCredit website. You will have an immediate credit decision and you can choose your own payment plan with little or no interest. CareCredit makes it so you can break up the cost of your treatment into manageable payments.
Please make your payment by the date printed on your statement. A late charge of 1.5% will be charged on unpaid balances. Accounts that are unpaid after 90 days will be referred for collection and additional costs incurred will be added to the outstanding balance. Any check returned for non-sufficient funds will result in a $50 processing fee.
We understand that sometimes it is necessary to cancel or reschedule appointments. Because of the preparation time required by our team to provide excellent care we require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancelled or missed appointments without 48 hours notice will result in a charge of $50 for a hygiene appointment or $150 for a doctor appointment.
